Abstract

Summary. . The replanted upper central incisor of a 9‐year‐old patient suffered severe inflammatory root resorption. The resorptive process was halted by the removal of necrotic pulp tissue followed by dressings of calcium hydroxide. The root canal was debrided using indirect ultrasound and irrigated with 3 per cent sodium hypochlorite solution. Technical difficulties complicated root canal obturation.
