Abstract

INTRODUCTION Core muscle provides proximal stability for efficient lower extremity movement. Bad posture is often caused by primary muscle tightness and weakness of its antagonist. Prolong bad posture may weaken the muscle, and lead to back pain. In previous report, paraspinal muscle has been related chronic law back pain. Scoliosis may be caused by the different activation of back extensors. Core muscle training can improve strength and dynamic stabilization, which may be beneficial to scoliosic patient. Back muscle is important in maintaining the stabilization of the trunk. Unilateral spinal extensor activity can improve its strength, mobility, and endurance. For this purpose, we designed three postures and further determined the most effective exercise on back muscle firing .
