Abstract
An analysis into whether the emergence of fundamental rights in recent EU jurisprudence developments (Viking, AMS, Alemo-Herron, etc) has changed the focus and development of EU employment law and social policy, as compared to pre-ECFR law. Considers closely various case law and secondary legislation (including the Working Time directive). Discusses the relationship between fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms in this regard.
