Abstract
The estimations were performed in 4 patients with chronic and in 2 patients with acute renal failure. Marked amounts of serum proteins as well as non-proteinbound and protein-bound hydroxyproline were found in dialysates. The hydroxyproline-containing proteins were removed into dialysing fluid more intensively than other proteins. The possible mechanisms of this phenomenon were discussed.
