The electrochemical synthesis of O-ethylxanthato and N,N′-dimethyldithiocarbamato complexes of indium(III), tin(IV), lead(II), bismuth(III) and tellurium(IV)

Abstract

The O-ethylxanthato and N,N′-dimethyldithiocarbamato main group metal complexes were produced by the one-step electrochemical oxidation of the metal (M = In, Sn, Pb, Bi, Te) in the presence of an acetone solution of ethyl dixanthogen or tetramethylthiuram disulphide.
