Abstract
Joshi et al1 present an interesting case of a patient with chest pain in whom the initial electrocardiogram (ECG) demonstrated ST-segment elevation in the inferior leads, whereas a subsequent ECG showed ST elevation in the chest leads. The authors postulated that this pattern of “wandering myocardial infarction” resulted from an interchange of the chest lead and limb lead cables of the ECG machine.
