Abstract
The electrical conductivity of pure Na2SO4, Rb2SO4 and Cs2SO4 and of the nine equimolar mixtures LiNaSO4, LiRbSO4, LiCsSO4, NaKSO4, NaRbSO4, NaCsSO4, KRbSO4, KCsSO4 and RbCsSO4 has been measured up to 1145°C. From the measurements we have estimated the number of cations taking part in cooperative motions in these salts. The relation between the TOBOLSKY parameter and the conductivities is discussed.
