Abstract

The effect of the temperature on the electrical conductance of the system H 2O + AOT + n-dodecane is presented. The data indicate clearly a large increase in the electrical conductance as the upper temperature phase stability limit is approached. A molecular explanation for the additive effect on the shift of the upper temperature phase transition (one-phase system two-phase system) is proposed.
