Abstract
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of omeprazole combined with itopride in the treatment of reflux esophagitis.Methods 122 patients with reflux esophagitis were randomly assigned to receive omeprazole of 20 mg twice daily (control group) or omerprazole plus itopride of 50 mg thrice daily (study group) for 6 weeks.The scores of symptoms and improvement in endoscopic appearance were compared between the two group after treatment.Results The control group had higher scores of symptoms than the study group after the treatment(P< 0.01).The total effectiveness rate was higher in the study group than in the control group (90.16% vs.50.82%,P < 0.01).Conclusions Omeprazole combined with itopride can improve gastric motility and reduce level of gastric acid and thus has a better efficacy in the treatment of reflux esophagitis.
