Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of fasudil in the prevention of cerebral vasospasm after neural interventional therapy.Methods 75 patients undergoing interventional therapy for subarachnoid hemorrhage were randomly divided into two groups.The study group ( n =38 ) received fasudil hydrochloride of 30mg thrice daily for 2weeks,while the control group ( n=37 ) received intravenous nimodipine of I mg/h.The total effectiveness rate was observed and compared between the two groups.Results The total effectiveness rate of treatment group was higher in the study group than in the control group ( 86.8% vs.67.6%,P < 0.05 ).No serve adverse reactions occurred during the treat ment.C onclusions Therapy with fasudil is efficacious and safe in the prevention of subarachnoid hemorrhage after neural interventional therapy and is worth popularizing clinically.
