Abstract

We discuss the effects of the recently proposed generalized (anti-)Snyder model on the thermostatistics of a classical ideal gas in the canonical ensemble and the blackbody energy spectrum. In the framework of this modified algebra, we calculate the modified partition function exactly and derive all thermodynamic quantities. The results show that the effects of the generalized (anti-)Snyder model become important only at the very high-temperature regime.
