Abstract

Dieldrin exposed 4th-instar Aedes aegypti ISLA VERDE larvae were fed to 4th-instar Toxorhynchites brevipalpis larvae. The daily consumption rate of the predator was adversely affected, accompanied by an increase in the time to pupation. This time differential, however, allowed for an overall increase in consumption.
