Abstract

Elderly people frequently exhibit malnutrition, which appears to be more severe in hip fracture patients than in the general ageing population. It is generally known that low nutrition leads to incomplete and insufcient wound healing. In 40 elderly patients who underwent hip surgery, we looked at the relationship between various factors related to preoperative nutritional status and delayed healing of the surgical wound
