Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to provide information for the improvement of organizational performance and sustainable development of social enterprises by exploring the mechanism of the effect of perceived organization support on organizational performance in social enterprises. For this study, an online survey was conducted on social enterprises in China and 508 valid questionnaires were collected. For the results of statistical analysis, SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 23.0 were used, and analysis results were derived from using Pearson correlation coefficient, model fitting test and mediation effect verification. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that perceived organization support, organizational commitment, and organizational citizenship behavior significantly affect the organizational performance of social enterprises. Second, organizational commitment was analyzed to play a partially mediating role between the social enterprise's perceived organization support and organizational performance. In addition, organizational citizenship behavior was found to have a mediating effect on the relationship between social enterprise's perceived organization support and organizational performance. This study not only verifies the wide applicability of variables by applying the innovation and management performance analysis framework used in general for-profit enterprises to social enterprises, but also presents a new perspective on the research on organizational performance of social enterprises. However, the limitations of this study may include limitations in the application of management innovation to social enterprises, sample selection, research methods, and applicability of research results to some extent. However, this study of industrialized social organization performance research on new ideas and research direction, and at the same time, to suggest that social entrepreneurs to pay attention to employee level, and improve the social skills to achieve the sustainable growth of seeking a virtuous circle to determine the relationship, and thought-provoking.
