Abstract
본 연구는 부모의 양육태도가 초기 청소년의 정신건강에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 두 변수간에 관계에서 또래관계가 매개효과를 갖는지 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 조사대상은 전라북도에 거주하고 있는 초기 청소년기에 해당하는 중학생 2학년이다. 2012년 7월 5일~16일에 걸쳐 실시하였고, 총 628명이 설문에 응답하였다. 최종분석에는 불성실하게 응답이 된 44부를 제외한 584부가 사용되었다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술 통계, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석 그리고 Sobel test를 통하여 매개효과를 검증하였다. 분석결과 부모의 양육태도는 초기 청소년기 자녀의 정신건강에 유의미하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 또래관계를 매개로 초기 청소년 자녀의 정신건강에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 유의미하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 부모양육태도가 초기 청소년의 정신건강에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 직접적인 효과가 유의함과 동시에 또래관계는 부모양육태도와 초기 청소년의 정신건강 사이에서 부분 매개효과를 보이고 있었다.The objective of this study is to find out the effects of parents’ attitudes toward rearing on the mental health of adolescents and to verify if a peer relationship will function as a medium in the relation between parents’attitudes toward rearing and the mental health of the adolescents. The Data were collected about the second grade students from 6 middle schools in Jeonju city, Iksan city and Kunsan city and 4 middle schools in Jinan gun, Buan gun, and Imsil gun, Jeollabukdo. Out of 628 respondents in questionnaires, 585 copies were analyzed. The way to collect data was done by self-administered questionnaire survey, which were conducted from July 5 to July 16, 2012. The main results of this study are as follows; first, the results of the analysis about the effects on the mental health of the adolescents showed that parents’attitudes toward rearing have significant effects on the mental health of adolescents. Second, the results of the analysis about the effects of parents’attitudes toward rearing on the health of adolescents through a medium of peer relationship showed that gender, school record, the number of friends, family form, income, health, and Internet have significant effects on it. The study analyzed the effects of parents’attitudes toward rearing on the mental health of the adolescents and medium effect of peer relationship. It is expected to be provided as basic data to develop educational programs to improve the mental health of the adolescent children and change parents’attitudes toward rearing, and to develop group programs to help the adolescents make positive peer relationship and improve their health.
