Abstract

The specifications of ion-acoustic soliton waves (IASWs) of plasma, including warm fluid ions and Cairns-Tsallis (C-T) distributed electrons and positrons, were investigated. The phase velocity, sagdeev potential, and Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation and its solution are obtained using reductive perturbation method (RPM). The results indicated that the parameters α and q have a great effect on phase velocity, nonlinear and dispersive coefficients, Sagdeev potential, maximum amplitude, and width of IASWs.
