Abstract

Excess body weight is a risk factor for impaired fertility in women conceiving both with and without medical assistance. However, whether excess body weight negatively influences female fertility on the level of the oocyte and/or uterine environment remains unclear. To expand on the existing literature in autologous and fresh oocyte donation cycles, we used information from a large cohort of vitrified donor oocytes to investigate the influence of donor and recipient body mass index (BMI) on assisted reproductive technology (ART) outcomes.
