Abstract

The effect of the anisotropy of the spatial spectrum of wind waves on multiple scattering of acoustic modes in a refractive waveguide was studied. The attenuation of the coherent component of mode amplitudes and changes in their intensities and in the spatial-correlation coefficient are analyzed. The results of numerical modeling for the hydrological conditions of the Barents Sea in winter are presented. The results for the anisotropic wind-wave spectrum and a simplified model with an isotropic spectrum are compared.
