Abstract

To study the effects of montmorillonite on the metabolism and tissue elimination of florfenicol in Pelteobagrus fulvidrac, a total of 4 drug administration groups were set, namely the fluorfenicol group, the florfenicol + low-dose montmorillonite group, the florfenicol + medium-dose montmorillonite group and the florfenicol + high-dose montmorillonite group. Pelteobagrus fulvidrac was orally administered, with the plasma, muscle, liver and kidney of Pelteobagrus fulvidrac collected for detection of drug concentration using high performance liquid chromatography at 0.083 (only kidney), 0.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 15, 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours, respectively. The results showed that comparing the florfenicol group, the peak plasma concentration of florfenicol in the plasma, muscle and kidney was increased in comparison with those of the other groups, while the concentration in the liver was decreased. The time to peak concentration in the plasma, muscle and liver was delayed. Montmorillonite can affect the metabolism of florfenicol in Pelteobagrus fulvidrac in sustained release and transportation manners.
