Abstract
1. 1. Hydroxyproline was fed to developing last instar Drosophila hydei and Culiseta inornata and injected into last instar Schistocerca gregaria and Diploptera punctata females. 2. 2. The proportion of free proline was reduced between 40 and 80% in treated organisms.
