Abstract

A double-blind trial of the effect of pulsed radio-energy on the healing of donor site wounds was carried out in man. Approximately twice as many patients were healed in seven days where active treatment was given as opposed to those receiving placebo treatment. The strictest criteria of clinical and statistical analysis were used and the results were found to be clinically and statistically significant.
