Abstract

Background and Aims: Coronary artery disease (CAD) which is a complex cardiovascular disease has high mortality and morbidity worldwide, despite all measures. Identifying the genetic background and environmental contributors of the disease is important for public health. In previous studies, clusterin (CLU) gene variants were found associated with CAD and disease-related risk factors. In this study, we aimed to identify the effects of the CLU variant on CAD risk factors.
