Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of college taekwondo players career perception on intrinsic and extrinsic satisfaction. The subjects of this study are university students enrolled in the Taekwondo department of four-year universities located in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Chungcheongnam-do, and Chungcheongbuk-do. Of these, 266 people belonging to the Poomsae and Demonstration Team were used for the final analysis. Hypothesis verification was performed by Structural Equation Model (SEM). First, it was found that career planning performance and job attitude had a positive effect on intrinsic satisfaction. Second, it was found that career planning performance and self-understanding of one s career had a positive effect on extrinsic satisfaction. Third, intrinsic satisfaction was found to have a positive effect on extrinsic satisfaction.
