Abstract

Within the context of a token reinforcement program, adults directly and vicariously taught self-control skills to six behavior problem children residing in a group home. Reductions in disruptive behavior obtained during the token program maintained at low levels through the transition to self-control skills and were comparable with levels of disruption during a concurrent adult-controlled program.
