Abstract

The study aimed to: Prepare and implement a proposed training program to develop the knowledge and skills of hand knitting for elementary school students, and measure the impact of the program in developing the knowledge and skills of hand knitting for elementary school girls.The study tools were: the proposed training program, an achievement test to measure the knowledge of hand knitting, a skillful test of manual knitting skills, a skill performance assessment scale, and a job evaluation questionnaire. The most important results of the study were: The effect of the proposed training program on raising the level of knowledge of the achievement of primary school students in manual knitting after applying the program positively compared to the tribal application products. The value of (t) was (53.607) , And the effect of the proposed training program on raising the level of skill performance of primary school girls in manual knitting after applying the program positively compared with the tribal application products. The value of (t) was (154.875), which is statistically significant at (0.01) The impact of the proposed training program is positive (T) was equal to (115.654), which is a statistically significant value at (0.01) level, indicating that there are real differences between the two applications. (The tribal-post) in favor of the post-application, that is, the proposed training program has had a successful effect in achieving its goal, which is to benefit the students from the knowledge and skills included in the proposed training program. Among the most important recommendations of the study are: teaching the economy of the home for boys such as girls in the primary stage as a rehabilitation for boys when entering the Faculty of Specific Education in the future, the addition of hand knitting in the curriculum of the preparatory stage. Hand and hand knitting in the curriculum of the secondary stage,The work of small projects and the production of hand-knitting handicrafts are put on the market, the work of research ideas similar to the idea of the current study in other methods such as embroidery in the fifth grade primary and crochet in the sixth grade primary, and the interest of schools to hold annual exhibitions displaying the products of students.
