Abstract

The effective integrated approach is proposed to the modelling of functional units (FU), on-board computers and embedded systems at the hardware development phase. It is applicable to enterprises with a complete production cycle of industrial systems, including on-board control and information processing devices, space and aeronautical systems and others. With a traditional approach the software is debugged and verified after production of the functional unit (FU) or computer, greatly increasing the time to market for the finished product. The hierarchical approach to modelling equipment at a transactional level using the SystemC library [1-2] allows to accelerate the development of FUs and computers, as well as detection of errors and limitations of the designed system.
