Abstract

The quantum hydrodynamics (QHD) model with derivative parametric couplings represents, in this contribution, the starting point of our formulation. The striking aspect of this model is that it allows the theoretical simulation, through effective couplings, of the presence of many‐body forces in nuclear matter involving nonlinear meson self‐interaction and meson cross‐interaction terms in the scalar–isoscalar and scalar–isovector meson sectors. In this study, on the basis of the fundamental concept of naturalness in relativistic field theory, we extend the descriptive domain of the dynamics of the model to the vector–isoscalar and vector–isovector meson sectors. Among other topics, we discuss the connection of this theory with other known effective QHD models of the literature and its potentiality in describing a new physics for dense nuclear matter and neutron star matter.
