Abstract

AbstractResults of Fe57 Mössbauer measurements are used for the analysis of the electronic state of Fe impurity atoms in AIIBIVC ternary compounds. The Mössbauer parameters have been analyzed and the effective charges of the Fe impurity atoms are evaluated on the basis of a MO (molecular orbital) cluster formed by the central Fe atom and the atoms of the matrix compound located in the two first coordination spheres in the AIIBIVC crystal. The possibility of using the results obtained for the analysis of the state of Fe impurity atoms in AIIIBV binary compounds is discussed.
