Abstract
It is shown that a neutrino interacts with high-frequency fields in a plasma like a particle having the charge e hf =(1 + 4 sin 2θ w )G F ω p 2/4π 2|e| . The solution of Dirac's equation predicts an effective mass for a neutrino in the field of an electromagnetic wave in a plasma.
