Abstract

In furniture industry, design and fashion sector today, surface quality, is one of most quality characteristics, change to depend on wood properties and machining parameters. Being aware of the machining parameters and wood properties in CNC milling, whether directly or indirectly, will contribute to using more efficiently Computer Numerical Control (CNC) router, invested a lot, also to producing what customers ask for in shorter time and with expected quality in today’s competitive environment. Therefore, in this study, the CNC machines, surface quality, the parameters effecting surface roughness and scientific literature studies related to this topic have been mentioned.
