Abstract
SummaryDigestion of whole measles fluids with crystalline trypsin at either 37° or 45° results in a 2- to 3-fold increase in amount of sedimentable complement fixing antigen. This treatment, however, markedly reduces the ability of these fluids to induce formation of neutralizing or complement fixing antibodies when injected in guinea pigs.
