Abstract

A leader can be said to be successful if he can apply a leadership style that suits his leads' work environment. A leader's experience and knowledge can affect the performance of a person or even a company. There is a lot of research and theories related to leadership and each leadership style has its own characteristics, advantages, and weaknesses. One of the usual leadership styles is transformational leadership. Transformational leadership is a leadership style that is believed to lead to good corporate performance even when the company faces demands and changes. This research was conducted to find out if transformational leadership affects employee work motivation and job satisfaction. samples used in this study are 100 respondents who are or have worked at a company or agency scattered throughout Indonesia, the research method used is a quantitative method with questionnaires as a data collection tool. The data analysis methods used in this study are multiple regression analysis, simultaneous test, and partial test. The results showed that transformational leadership and work motivation contributed to job satisfaction by 37.4%. When tested simultaneously and partially, the results showed that transformational leadership and work motivation significantly influenced employee job satisfaction.
