Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of three-lumen gastrojejunal tube on the enteral nutritional support for patients with severe acute pancreatitis(SAP). Methods A total of 32 patients with SAP were divided into two groups for comparative analysis. The treatment group,14 patients, were provided with enteral nutritional support using three-lumen gastrojejunal tube, while the control group,18 patients,were provided with parenteral nutritional support. Results Length, cost and complications of hospitalization of the treatment group were less than those of the control group,P< 0.05. Conclusions Three-lumen gastrojejunal tube has a significant advantage in enteral nutritional support and nursing for SAP, with fewer complications, smaller risks and easier nursing, and it is worth using in clinical practice.
