Abstract

The effect of the variation of the optical-potential parameters on the recoil momentum distributions for the12C(e, e′p)11B reaction is investigated. The effect is found to be small. The momentum distributions calculated with the deformed HF wave functions of Palet al. are observed to be in better magnitude agreement with the Saclay data than the earlier predictions based on Elton and Swift wave functions. In comparison with the deformed HF results, the agreement of the spherical HF wave functions of Kakkaret al. is poor.
