Abstract

The paper is the first to propose the mathematical model of the process of intermetalliс composite synthesis in the mode of dynamic thermal explosion taking into account the stages of chemical reactions, the rate of which slows down with the increase of the refractory product content. The model takes into account the mutual influence of thermal and chemical processes, as well as the condition of conjugate heat exchange with the reactor walls. Examples of composition evolution in the synthesis process are given. According to the results of the study, diagrams have been compiled for the first time to illustrate changes in the phase composition of the product depending on changes in the composition of the initial pressed material. It is shown that as a result of bulk synthesis a composite of complex composition is formed. It was found that in the studied conditions in the general case there is an inhomogeneous distribution of concentrations.
