Abstract

Abstract The aim of the search is to identify The effect of the guided discovery technique in learning the high beating and the scoring skills from the constant football for the female students, the research community consisted of middle-level students (first-class average) General Directorate of Education of Baghdad /al Karkh/II in the Middle School (Bent Al Huda) for girls and their number ( 251) female student, the search sample was chosen in the random manner and by the drawing of lots, two division (A,B) their number (40) female student . The sample was divided into two groups of the experimental group consisted of (20) female students in the first grade and the control group consisted of 20 female of students first grade students average. The researchers have prepared (9) educational modules for high beating and the scoring skills from the constant football by guided technique over the course of the second semester and the appropriate statistical means have been used to arrive at the results of the research, and the researchers have reached the following conclusions: 1. Existence of impact For a guided discovery technique to learn high beating and scoring skills from constant basketball for the first middle-class female students. 2.The superiority female students of the experimental group studied by the method of discovery directed against the female students of the control group studied in the manner used. The researchers therefore recommended that necessity to use the guided discovery method in learning basketball skills because of its impact in raising the thinking of female students and achieving better learning of skills.
