Abstract

Structure and mechanical properties of three samples based on ethylene-1-hexene copolymers prepared by crystallization from decalin solutions were studied. The rate of decrease in the true yield stress was shown to depend on temperature. This behavior was assumed to be due to the involvement in deformation of the “intermediate phase” that is located at the lamellar surface between the crystalline and amorphous phases.
