Abstract

The Ziman theory and its modification are used for calculating the electrical resistivity of liquid cesium in the temperature range from 303 to 1000 K using data on the structure factor of the melt. An increase in conductivity by ∼30–40% is obtained at ∼590 K in the region of structural phase transition.
