Abstract
Objective To investigate the application effect of special nursing intervention in gastric cancer patients after radical excision.Methods Sixty eight cases of patients with gastric cancer were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the postoperative nursing methods.The control group was given conventional postoperative care,the observation group was treated with special care.The two groups were compared with postoperative gastrointestinal function and complications.Results The time of beginning to eat,return of bowel sounds,flatus,bowel movement,duration of hospital stay in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in control group (P < 0.05).Gastrointestinal dysfunction,infection and other complications in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusions The special nursing is helpful for promoting recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients with undergoing radical operation,reduce the incidence of complications.
