Abstract
Purpose: Dry eye is the most common complaint that eye doctors hear from contact lens wearers. To reduce contact lens-induced dry eye (CLIDE) symptoms is the most significant issue for contact lens manufacturers. Therefore, a novel contact lenses with L-Menthol was specifically designed to reduce dry eye discomfort during lens wear. The purpose of this study was to develop a hydrogel lens with L-Menthol which can reduce contact lens-induced dry eye (CLIDE) symptoms and lens comfort.
