The effect of self-management education on the patients with lower extremity deep venous thrombosis

Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of self-management education on the patients with lower extremity deep venous thrombosis (DVT).Methods Totaled of 60 patients with DVT were divided into the observation group and the control group,two groups were given the same treatment method,the control group was given conventional health education,the observation group was treated with self-management education,two groups were compared with self-management behavior and the treatment effect.Results The scores of self-management behaviors,such as correcting unhealthy eating habits,exercise,psychological adjustment in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).The cure rate in observation group and nursing satisfaction scores were significantly higher than those in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Self-management education can promote the patients with DVT to master health knowledge,improve the ability of self-management and therapeutic effect.
