Abstract

이 연구는 학교 밖 청소년의 사회적응에 미치는 요인 탐색하기 위해 연구가 진행되었다. 이를 위해 광주광역시에 위치한 학교 밖 청소년지원센터, 쉼터, 대안 학교에 다니는 학교 밖 청소년들 200명을 대상으로 총 200부의 설문지를 배포하였고 이중 170부가 수거 되었으며 최종적으로 총 153부(남자 74명, 여자 79명)를 분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 WIN 21.0 통계프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였고, 자료 분석은 t-검정, 일원배치분산분석, 상관관계분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교 밖 청소년의 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 차이를 분석한 결과에서 학교 밖 청소년의 성별에 따른 결과는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았지만 학교과정별로 자아존중감이 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학교 밖 청소년의 자아존중감, 진로성숙도 및 사회 적응의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 학교 밖 청소년의 자아존중감이 사회적응은 정적 상관관계가 있고 진로성숙도 또한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 자아존중감과 진로성숙도가 학교 밖 청소년의 사회적응을 높일 수 있다는 점에서 본 연구는 의의가 있으며, 따라서 학교 밖 청소년의 사회적응을 높이기 위해 자아존중감과 진로성숙도가 중요한 시사점을 제공하였다.The purpose of this study was to research that self-esteem and career maturity of adolescents who don t attend have what relations to their social adjustment, and to examine mutual influences. For this study, a total of 200 questionnaires were distributed to 200 youths not to attend school - including youth supporting centers, runaway youths, and alternative schools located in Gwangju Metropolitan City. And 170 out of 200 questionnaires were collected and finally 153 questionnaire(male: 74, female: 79) were used for this study. The collected research materials were analyzed using the WIN 21.0 statistical program. Data analysis were made by t-test, one-way analysis, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, upon analyzed result to the difference by the sociodemographic characteristics of adolescent not to attend school, there was no significant difference by the gender of adolescents not to attend school, but there was a significant difference in self-esteem by school courses. Secondly, results of the correlation-analysis among self-esteem, career maturity and social adaptation of adolescents not to attend school showed that there were positive correlations between self-esteem of adolescents not to attend school and social adaptation, and there were also positive correlations between career maturity and social adaptation. And this study is meaningful in the way that adolescents not to attend school can raise their social adjustment. Therefore, to improve their social adaptability, the self-esteem and career maturity should be considered important. Also so as to maximize effectiveness about the above materials for adolescents not to attend school.
