Abstract

Objective To discuss about the effect of implementing red point indication project of activity ability on fall risk management of hospitalized senile patients. Methods The fall quality improvement group of patients' red point indication project of activity ability on fall risk management was established.Multiple departments were effectively integrated.The targets were set, improvement plans were formulated and fall management procedures were optimized through the stages of project startup, project planning, project implementation and project monitoring to have fall nursing evaluation. Results After project management was implemented, the fall occurrence rate of senile patients decreased from 0.713‰ to 0.391‰, and the accuracy of nurses to fall risk recognition rate and fall prevention measures was improved(P<0.05). The compliance of patients to the awareness rate of knowledge to falling and preventing from falling was improved(P<0.05). The satisfaction of patients, watchers and families at nursing service was improved(P<0.05). Conclusion The management of red point indication project system of activity ability improved work efficiency, fall caring quality and strengthened high-quality caring service.
