The Effect of Realistic Mathematics Education on Academic Achievement, Motivation and Retention of Fifth Grade Students

  • The paired samples t-test reveals whether there is a significant difference between the means of two groups; it does not inform us about the size of this difference, that’s why effect size is separately calculated in this study [16]

  • According to the results of the analyses, a significant difference was identified between achievement post-test and pre-test score means of the students in the experimental and control groups
