Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of rational emotive behavior therapy on improving operation stress and nursing satisfaction of breast cancer patients. Methods A total of 100 cases of radical resection of breast cancer patients in general surgery department were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, the control group was given routine nursing in perioperation period, the observation group was given rational emotive behavior therapy based on the control group, two groups were compared with health knowledge, operation stress and nursing satisfaction. Results The health knowledge in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, blood pressure, heart rate when into the operation room was less than that the control group, anxiety, depression score of 1 day after operation was lower than that in the control group, intraoperative muscle tension was less than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). Satisfaction of health education, psychological nursing, nursing effect in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusions Rational emotive behavior therapy can help breast cancer patients to establish good operation and cognition of disease, and reduce the operation stress,improve nursing satisfaction.
