Abstract

This article investigates a mediated model of psychological contract (PC) fulfilment on perceptions of organisational justice, work engagement and knowledge sharing (KS) behaviour. It is advocated that fulfilment of psychological contract can influence justice perceptions, which in turn will positively influence employees' outcome. The indirect effect of psychological contract fulfilment involves shaping perception of organisational justice, which in turn, increases employees' knowledge sharing (KS) behaviour and work engagement. The authors have conducted the present empirical attestation by collecting the responses from the select public sector banks in India. A total of 264 completely filled questionnaires were collected from the junior and middle-level management employees, with a response rate of 69.65. Furthermore, theoretical and practical implications, limitations and suggestions for future research are presented.
