Abstract
The effect of short-term protein synthesis inhibition produced by the administration of a single injection of actinomycin D and of long-term inhibition induced by hypophysectomy, on the ATPase histochemical staining of the rabbit and rat parotid acinar secretory capillaries was studied and was found to cause almost a total abolition of that reaction.
