Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of problem-based learning based on computer network platform for medical students.Methods 47 students were selected from the five-year medical program of year 2005,Guangzhou Medical University as the experimental group,and 55 students were assigned as controls.The students in the experimental group were given the teaching through the problem-based learning based on computer network platform,while the control group was offer the lecture-based learning method.All the students take part in the final examination,the scores of the experimental group and the control were obtain and analyzed using the SPSS 13.0 software.Results The scores obtained by the experimental group were higher than the control group in case analysis,physical,clinical skills to operate,auxiliary examination and the total score of skills and theory.Conclusions Problem-based learning based on computer network platform is a valuable teaching method.
