Abstract

The effects of different powder compositions on the microstructure and properties of the sintered oil bearings were investigated. Three different types of powder were used for the comparative tests. The research conclusions show that three different types of raw material powders have different pore structures. In the case of mixed powders, the sintered samples have a self-lubricating function that can both store oil and supply oil to the friction surface through capillary pores. When the raw material is a mixed powder in which Cu powder is less than 75 μm, it has the best self-lubricating function and oil retention.
