Abstract

This paper studies the influence of plasticizers of different chemical nature on the adhesive, strain-strength, and dynamic mechanical properties of an adhesive composition based on a product of a thioetherification prereaction of epoxy resin with liquid thiokol. It is shown that the introduction of plasticizers into the composition increases the adhesive and cohesive strength, tensile strain, and fracture energy of the material. The use of oligoetheracrylate MGF-9 as a plasticizer allows the greatest effect to be achieved.
